We are proud to bring to you our latest craftbeer arrival straight out of San Francisco. Welcome with us Headlands Brewing Co.
We have for you …
Groupe G: Belgian RyePA
Group G is short for the General Sabotage Groupe of Belgium from WWII. This beer is a sabotage of West Coast IPAs. We subvert the traditional grain bill with malted rye for subtle spiciness and resist using common IPA yeast. Instead we add a flavorful, estery Belgian yeast that enhances the tropical, floral hops and adds complexity.
Mosiac, Warrior, Glacier, Ahtanum, 2-Row, Rye Malt, Munich, Crystal and Red Wheat
Hill 88: West Coast Pale Ale
What is a West Coast Pale Ale? You start with the idea of an American Pale Ale, add more west coast hops, then more grain to balance it out. Finish it off with an assertive blend to dry hop and what you have is a West Coast Pale Ale. The name is derived from the decommissioned Nike Missile site in the Headlands. Those missiles once guarded us from Communism… so will this beer.
Summit, Chinook, Centennial, Ahtanum, 2-Row, Pilsner, Crystal, Victory, Carapils
Pt. Bonita: West Coast Pilsner
Point Bonita is the landmark lighthouse in the Marin Headlands. It has been a guiding light for ships full of prospectors, immigrants, pirates, sailors and cargo for over 150 years. Our pilsner guides customers away from the mass produced light lagers and shows them what a true lager tastes like: light, crisp, and refreshing with a nice spicy hop character.
